The 06 PeeWee Major North Shore Shamrocks (Orange) went to Lake Placid on November 1st and returned on November 4th with the Silver Medal. The Shamrocks went 3-1 in  round robin to advance to the Medal round where they beat a tough New Caanan Wildcat team to advance to the Gold Medal game against the Willowdale Blackhawks from Toronto. The Shamrocks took the lead on their 1st shift with some beautiful passing from Atticus Bealsey and Tyler Muse who set up Conor McIntyre for a 1 timer. The score remained 1-0 until there were :30 left in th e1st period when the Blackhawks tied it up 1-1. That score remained until the 5:00 mark of the 3rd period when the Blackhawks scored fluke goal on a tough bounce in front of the net to make it 2-1. The Shamrocks had some chances but could not sneak one past the Blackhawk goalie. North Shore Shamrocks Goalie Brayden Holt was great all tournament and only gave up 8 goals.  The Shamrocks got goals from 8 different players in the tournament with Muse (3), Beasley (2), McIntyre (5), Kyle Gray (3), Gunnar Larson (2), Evan Rocha (2), Josh Henry (1), and Renby Fernald (1) all lighting the lamp. Brian Banks chipped in with a pair of helpers and Nolan Lopes was flying all weekend and had 4 assists. Muse led the team in scoring with 3 goals and 6 assists.  The defense of Henry, Liam Brooks, Colin Lawson, Michael DeRose, Jimmy Driscoll, and Nick D'Amico were solid throughout the tournament.

As always, the North Shore Shamrocks (Orange) team, coaches, and families represented the organization with tremendous class.
