The 2006 Shamrocks white team earned the gold medal in the CHE Gobble Cup Tournament in Burlington VT. Over Thanksgiving weekend. Led by outstanding goaltending by Owen Holland and strong team defensive play all weekend, the Shamrocks avenged their only loss of the tournament to the Clifton Park Eagles by defeating them in the gold medal game 4-1. The Shamrocks earned individual players of the game honors during weekend play by Andrew Nemec, Joey Kelleher, Michael Connors and Ben Doucette. Liam Milne was named as the tournament Most Valuable Player leading the Shamrocks in the gold medal game with 1 goal and 3 assists in the 4-1 win. A great way to cap off a great weekend of hockey!
