Despite having only one practice as a team under their belts the '96 Shamrocks accorded themselves quite well losing last night to the New England Predators 3-2 at the Veteran's Memorial Rink in Haverhill. Because of prior commitments, a few players were unable to make the game forcing the team to play with only four defensemen. The coaches asked for and received a total effort from all players that dressed. Shamrock goals were scored by Jonathan Parece and Brendan Boyle (after a nifty feed from Parece). The team is looking forward to this weekend as they will be competing in the North American Summer Championships Tournament at The New England Sports Center in Marlboro.
