Eight of the nine Shamrock teams will officially begin their inaugural season the weekend of September 11-12, 2010. Five of the teams will begin their first ever season at home playing at the Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington while the other three teams will be playing on the road.
On Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:40 am the first ever North Shore Shamrocks league game will be played by the '97 Bantam Minor "AA" Team at the CDL Arena in Raynham, Massachusetts against the NECDL Classics. Also On Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 4:40 pm the North Shore Shamrocks will play their initial IJYHL league game when the '00 Squirt Major "AAA" team visits the Hallenborg Memorial Pavillion in Billerica to play their opening day game against the New England Bulldogs. While the first ever North Shore Shamrocks home game will be played at the Ristuccia Memorial Arena on Saturday, September 11 at 6:20 pm when the '97 Bantam Minor AAA Team takes on the Boston Jr. Blackhawks.
The ninth Shamrock team, the '98 Pee Wee Major "AA" Team, will open it's season a week later on Saturday, September 18th on the road at the Olympia Ice Center against the Springfield Pics.

Although they started off slow the ‘96 Bantam Major Team came roaring back to win the Silver Medal in The North American Summer Championships held at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro from August 20th through August 22nd. In the first round of the playoffs held Sunday morning the '96 Bantam Major Team defeated the Connecticut Mongoose 1 Team 7-2 to advance to the Silver Medal Game. The Shamrocks were lead by Tyler Scearbo and Jonathan Parece with two goals each while Connor Sodergren, Chris Nigro and Zach Strahan each chipped in with one goal a piece.
Later Sunday afternoon the Shamrocks took on the Connecticut Mongoose 2 Team to decide the Silver Medal Winner of the North American Summer Hockey Championships. In the preliminary round the '96 Shamrocks lost a 6-5 heartbreaker to the Mongoose 2 Team so the Silver Medal Game promised to be a thriller. But the Shamrocks easily handled the Connecticut team beating them 5-2. Tyler Scearbo once again scored 2 goals for the Shamrocks as Connor Sodergren, Matt Dighton and Zach Strahan scored one goal each in the Silver Medal Game.
